Home windows with film installed, looking out at the yard
For your Villages home

Home window tinting in The Villages

Is there a room in your Villages home you avoid after lunch? Home window film cuts the heat and glare coming through the glass and stops the sun from fading your floors and furniture, without giving up your view of the course or the lanai.

Why it matters:Sun fading on floors and furniture is permanent. Every summer without film is another summer of it.

Why Villagers tint

Use every room, all afternoon

A lot of Villages homes have big sliders to the lanai, a sunroom, or a wall of windows facing west. In the afternoon, those rooms get hot, the glare washes out the TV, and the sun slowly bleaches floors, rugs, and furniture.

Window film stops much of that heat and glare before it gets inside, which also takes some load off your AC. There are films for nearly every goal: nearly clear heat control that keeps your view, darker privacy film for street-facing windows, and frosted film for bathrooms and entry doors.

We’re right across from Brownwood Paddock Square, close to home for most Villagers, and we’ve tinted homes in The Villages and the towns around it.

Questions

What people ask us

Will window film make my house dark?

Only if you want it to. Many heat-control films are nearly clear, so you keep your view of the yard, the course, or the lanai.

Which rooms should I start with?

Usually the ones that face west or have the most glass: sunrooms, rooms with sliders to the lanai, and any room where you close the blinds every afternoon.

Can you do frosted or privacy glass?

Yes. Frosted film is popular for bathrooms, entry doors, and sidelights, and darker films add privacy on windows that face the street.

How long does an install take?

It depends on how many windows. We give you a time with your quote.

Do you tint cars too?

Yes, that’s most of what we do. Our shop is across from Brownwood, and car tint is usually in by 8 and ready by 4.
