Pull in and we look over your paint together under lights, so we both know about any chips or scratches before we start. From then on, your car is under 24/7 video surveillance.

We prep the paint
A full wash and decontamination so the film goes down on perfectly clean paint.

Trim comes off where it should, and the film wraps around edges instead of stopping on the paint.

Living with your film
We go over all of this with you at pickup, and you can always text us a question.
The first week
Let the film settle before its first wash. Small bubbles or a little haze are leftover moisture and clear up as it cures.
Hand wash with gentle soap
A pH-neutral car soap and a soft mitt keep the film clear and glossy.
Keep the pressure washer back
Hold the nozzle a foot or more away, and never aim it straight at an edge.
Let heat heal light scratches
Park in the sun or pour warm water over a light scratch, and it fades away on its own.
Wipe off bugs and droppings soon
The film protects your paint, but the film itself can stain if they bake on. A coating on top makes this easy.
Come back for your check-up
We look over every edge 1 to 2 weeks after install, at no charge.

Myth: “You can see the edges from across the lot.”
The truth: We wrap film around panel edges wherever the car allows and remove trim when needed. On most cars, you can’t tell it’s there.
Myth: “Film ruins your paint when it comes off.”
The truth: On factory paint in good shape, film comes off cleanly with heat and the right technique. Repainted panels are the exception, and we tell you up front.
Myth: “You can’t coat over film.”
The truth: You can, and we recommend it. A ceramic coating keeps the film clean, glossy, and stain-free.

How long does PPF last?
With proper maintenance, our clear film is rated for up to 12 years and our matte film for up to 10. We walk you through the care routine at pickup.
Will I see lines or edges?
On most cars, no. We wrap the film around panel edges wherever the car allows and remove trim when needed.
Is matte PPF the same as a matte wrap?
No. Matte PPF is protection film with a satin finish, so it guards against chips just like our clear film. When it comes off years later, your original gloss paint is still there.
Should I also get ceramic coating?
Many customers do. Film protects the paint, but the film itself can stain. A coating on top keeps the film clean and easy to wash, and it protects the panels the film doesn’t cover.
Does PPF turn yellow?
Older and cheaper films did. Today’s quality films are built to stay clear for their rated life, and ours is rated for up to 12 years with proper care.
Can PPF be removed later?
Yes. On factory paint in good condition, film comes off cleanly when it’s heated and removed the right way. Repainted panels can be riskier, and we’ll tell you if yours are.
Will PPF hide the rock chips I already have?
No. Film protects what’s there, and existing chips still show through. We point them out at drop-off so you can decide whether to have them touched up first.
Can I take a car with PPF through a car wash?
Hand washing is best. A touchless wash is fine once in a while, but skip brush washes and keep pressure washers away from the edges.
